NYC Police Cracking Down on Midtown Speeding

The NY Post on Sunday April 25th has a piece detailing how the NYC police have been cracking down on midtown speeding.

Unless otherwise posted the speed limit in the City of New York including midtown is 30 MPH. In 2009 the NYPD issed 18.3 million moving violations, the vast majority of which will set you back $495.00 PLUS an insurance increase.

Some Manhattan locations to pay particular attention to your speed: 12th Av. between 20th and 30th, 1st Av. at East 42nd St., South Street, Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, FDR at Houston St., Park Av. at E. 84th St.

Retaining our law firm will save you money and time, because we will go to court on your behalf so that you do not have to lose time from work. We will work to get the charges and corresponding fine dismissed or reduced, and work to prevent your insurance from increasing.
